 PAIA STORY.              Cushy seat this morning at my local coffee shop ~
"STORY" the name, serene and beautiful, spacious with a kitty, tame.
My regular place was wood slats hard. now a long cushion soft ~
Happy rump with music playing, my feet in tempo jump.
The cat is red and super social, loves to play and cuddle ~
Climbs up atop of doors, chases bugs or falls asleep, in a fuzzy puddle.
Lots of phones, computers too, the vibe is always high ~
Lotsa chatting, hand back slapping, friend energy, girls and guys.
The staff is lovely, full of life, busy, alert and kind.
Across the street a field with west mountains behind, standing tall ~
Beach and ocean a few minutes walk, loose track of time and all.
Paia town where STORY is, great shops, Mana market, old school charm ~
Only two streets diagonal, one traffic light, then homes, large sky and beyond.
Hana highway a main route, Baldwin Avenue heads up south to Haleakala summit ~
Old artsy cowboy towns you'll pass through.
Hana highway both ways open land. Going and coming from it.
The North shore is the wet side, though Paia on the edge, dry and green ~
A central valley nearby, mixes the airs the weather, in-between.
Maui has so many sites. A couple large towns if ya want night lights ~
Beaches galore, rainbow eucalyptus forest, ocean adventures, rivers and jungle see.
