Rocket ride

I mostly drift outside the norm but seem to appear within ~
I get acknowledged, accepted of, part of the kin.
I supposed, it is due to human form, I look much like they ~
But my world shines in a different sight, an other total way.
I see/feel energy, vibrations of a group ~
Words expire, admiration higher, different ingredients of the soup.
Sometimes, I join in, talk and laugh at jokes ~
Though only so much, until I leave its clutch, separate from the yoke.
Once upon a time, I was socially adept ~
Even over the top, sometimes pop, beyond the barriers kept.
Step above, own the space, serenade or give a toast ~
Break the ice, give it spice, command a few moments boast.
Some group play is my way, most every day ~
But then I like to withdraw, my own space with my cat ~
Telepathic joy these days, is for me, where it's at.
However, this may change (a function of this physical place) ~
Something one can count on, certainly in this case.
A sort of girlfriend would be nice and roll the dice ~
+ play a game, with a worthwhile aim and be super sane!
I know that some thing will, the red pill, blast me once again ~
Rocket ride, boundless wide, spectacular journey send. :D
