this Rock

A good place I live, lots of space at a creative pace.
My cat BFF. Close enough to town when I urge for friends to hang around.
Landscaping is a favorite past time. Not as a job but pleasure.
A nice workout too though, an aesthetic pursuit and once done, visual leisure.
Current residence, lots of land, small kind community, owners my help are a fan.
They too creating lovely change.
Also the upkeep and share their crops of a large range.
Living alone with my cat, ideal, no roommates, yea.
Did that a lot, so rarely worked, or landlords their egos uncorked.
Maui of course an ideal scene. Been a long while now, living a dream. 
If too hot, ocean plunge or a short drive to 10,000 feet.
Haleakala with wide views, such awe.
Too cold, a heater or take a beach walk. 
Yea this island, I love this rock!
